Papa Romano's is a privately owned company that was started in 1970. Papa Romano's has been franchising since 1985. We are currently looking for individuals who are willing to run Papa Romano's stores as owner/operators. We believe Papa Romano's success has been due to the hard working and dedicated people who recognize the importance of providing customers with quality service and a quality product.

We offer franchises for operating a carryout, delivery and/or sit-down restaurant that offers pizza, subs, salads, chicken, pasta, breads and other Italian prepared foods.

Papa Romano's Name

You'll have the right to use The Papa Romano's name and logo at your location. For more than 30 years, people of all ages have responded with delight when they see our bright red concentric circle logo with the Little Bambino in the center. It has a warm, positive, happy image that draws customers into our stores. Papa Romano's is a name they are not likely to forget.

Marketing and Advertising

We provide you with ongoing support from the day of your grand opening and beyond. We strive to work with our franchisees to develop programs that will assist in their success. All of our marketing and advertising programs (television, radio, and direct mail) support our continued commitment to quality.

Finding a location

We will assist you in determining which areas are more appropriate for a Papa Romano's location. We will help you obtain information such as population density, demographics, vehicle and pedestrian traffic and competitive business information. Once a location is approved, Papa Romano's will work closely with you and your attorney or real estate professional in negotiating a lease. Papa Romano's does not guaranty or secure your lease. At times we have an existing store or have secured a lease in a location that you might be interested. We will provide you with the details, if you express an interest and we believe you would be suitable for the location. We must approve all sites, but the final site selection is yours.

Store Design and Build Out

After you find a location we will work with you to come up with a preliminary layout of your store. Papa Romano's stores are designed to provide you the franchisee, with a kitchen, which is both economical in production, and efficient in space. Our stores have a smart, colorful and contemporary look. Once you have these preliminary plans you will be responsible for having final plans drawn up and approved by us. All stores must be built out to our standards. You may use your own contractors.

Training

We provide you with comprehensive training. If you are purchasing a new franchise, there is no additional charge for training. There may be a fee for training if you are purchasing an existing Papa Romano's unit. Training will take place at one of our designated Metro Detroit training stores. Once your store is opened we will provide you with an onsite training instructor to help you get off to a great start.

Research and Development

We are always looking for new menu items to meet customer demand, more efficient production methods and state of the art equipment. As an independent businessperson you would be able to take advantage of this ongoing research and development.
